PROJECT VISION

It’s as simple as a phone call, or as detailed as a finished CAD drawing. Either way, it’s about connecting with you and understanding your vision. A custom project can be worrisome, and we take every step to ensure that your idea becomes a beautiful reality.

FEASIBILITY & BUDGET REVIEW

Once we have a handle on your vision and the project specific requirements, we move the project through an internal review process. First, we ensure that we can meet or exceed the Underwriters Laboratory (UL) standards. Next, we verify that the proposed design can be fabricated within the allotted budget. If either of those two reviews reveals challenges, we’ll make a proposal as to how they can be overcome.

PURCHASE ORDER

After discussing the internal review and confirming details of the budget, you are able to initiate the project by issuing a purchase order or written confirmation, which can be by email as well.

SALES ORDER & CONTRACT

Once we receive a P.O. or written confirmation that you would like to proceed, we’ll draft a contract and sales order showing the total project cost, including packing and shipping along with any applicable taxes. If you are reselling/tax exempt we can also forward our paper work to document your tax except status for the purchase. Once we receive the signed contract and deposit (50% of the project cost), the project is entered into our system.

FINALIZE DESIGN DRAWINGS & FINISHES

Any finish samples or finalized design drawings both internal and client facing are then created and sent for approval, so that production can begin. Per individual contract, we are also able to include dry assembly reviews as needed. A dry assembly is when we put together your fixture without wiring or finish to confirm scale, proportion, and complex details.

PRODUCTION AND ASSEMBLY

We have four phases in production and assembly: raw material procurement, machining and part fabrication, surface preparation, and finish. We can keep you in the loop as much as you’d like, through email or text message, so you can see how your fixture is coming along.

FINAL PAYMENT & SHIPPING

Once the custom fixture is scheduled for final assembly, a bill for the remaining 50% is issued. After final assembly, and upon receiving final payment the fixture is shipped.
